In this week’s assignment we were to create a Piktochart on the topic of Cybersecurity.
I chose to use the topic of “Cybersecurity Tips” as my focus.
Even in a world centered around technology, cybersecurity is a topic that is not always known about or even talked about. The use of technology is a great means of communication; however, it can also bring destruction and thief in another’s life. Some tips on cybersecurity include: 1. it is best to have privacy settings on and only allow people you know “in real life” follow and have access to your sites, 2. use strong passwords, 3. use safe networks, especially when online shopping or giving out personal information, and 4. understand that whatever you put on the internet or on social networks can, and most likely, will be taken from you, most of the time without you knowing it.
Keep these tips in mind the next time you are scrolling through facebook or instagram.
